stories that move.

about

Picture this:

You're out with friends. At the movies, let's suppose.

On your way out of the theatre, you begin to lament about how the movie, which just so happened to be based off of a beloved book, paled in comparison to its literary inspiration.

Too many special effects. Harry's eyes were green in the book. Blah, blah.

Everyone agrees with you. The movie never gets it right.

Everyone, except one.

"Dude, I didn't even read the book."

That's me. I'm that friend.

The name's Mark.

What can I say? I guess I've always been a visual person.

I make stories with my camera because that's how I connect with stories.

Show me 100,000 words neatly bound in hardback, and I'll show you where I like to take naps.

But show me fat apertures, driving music beds, crisp edits, rolled out in high definition?

Hook, line, and sinker. Every time.

And hey – if you're a bookworm, you're still welcome in my little corner of the Internet. Harry's eyes were supposed to be green. I get it.

But there's more than one way to tell a story.

This is mine.

You get married. I get behind a camera. We both enjoy.
